Needlepoint design by Anna-Carin Betzén, based on a full-scale rug

This strict Neoclassical design uses only three colors of thread - a medium and dark shade of the same color, and a very light matching shade (cream, pale rose, etc - pure white is too harsh).

The color suggestions given in the chart are for the mustard yellow colorway of the original full-scale rug, but do pick any color you like - maybe you'd like to match it to the Georgian fourposter you're building from my furniture how-to's. To the right you can see some suggestions for different color schemes.
